Quality (Message of Light)
From the Gospel of John 15: 9, 13 :
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
With what love do you love your God?
With what love do you love yourself?
With what love do you love those around you?
With what love do you love the nature that surrounds you?
The Lord invites us today to take a few moments to deeply meditate on our love… Yes, we feel love. Love is a gift from Heaven; it is a common gift to all beings, to all creation. The omnipresence of the Creator in everything testifies to the presence of this grand energy. Nevertheless, its reception and manifestation depend on each individual’s free will! Even though the seed of unconditional love is sown in every heart, some will choose to reject this love; others will choose to surround it with worldly concerns; still others will feel its effects but driven by worldly desires, they will abandon it… Others will receive it and keep it because of the great peace and joy it brings.
And you, what is your situation? What is the nature of your love? Can you feel something within yourself? For whom or what does your heart beat?
In the human experience, it is rare to experience unconditional love, the true one that can lead to sacrificing one’s own life… The love of a parent for their child comes close to it, but it is sometimes tainted by personal wounds that darken its manifestation at a given moment, especially when the child desires to take their own path… Nevertheless, each of us is on this path of self-realization. Our soul is pure and filled with divine love. However, if we are not aware of it, it cannot manifest in our daily lives for our well-being and that of the people around us.
The goal here is therefore to seek out this buried goodness deep within one’s soul. Questioning one’s mind… questioning one’s soul, in order to uncover the treasure that the perfect God has bequeathed us through his image and likeness planted within us. Everyone is capable of expressing a certain type of love… But which one? That is the question on which we are all called to meditate. There is no right or wrong answer. There are only steps in a process of awareness intended to lead us towards the light. That is why Saint Paul prayed with these words: « For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ fthat surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. » (Ephesians 3:14-19). For as we form a single entity with God himself, does discovering his love for us not amount to discovering our own love for him?
As the apostle Paul says, it is therefore from within that we will be able to have this revelation. More precisely, it is in connection with our soul that we can achieve it. It is necessary, for this purpose, to meditate again and again; go deep inside to bring out that profound sensitivity which elevates us above everything in this world!
Good meditation.
