To simply love (Message of Light)
From the Gospel of Matthew 22:36-40 :
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend kall the Law and the Prophets.”
Love. Ah, love! Love again… in all its forms. Every time, we come back to love. But why do we talk about it so much? one might wonder… It’s because love is everything. There is nothing else. Love is the question and the answer, it’s the Alpha and the Omega, the initiator and the savior… Love is the cause of affliction but it’s also the remedy for misery. Love is what we will never understand until our consciousness awakens to this high frequency of energy! The whole law, all prophets had only one message: love is everything!
I love but I am not loved in return. With all my strength, I want to do good but in return, I only receive contempt, insults, hatred and disdain. I want to demonstrate kindness, soften the atmosphere, bring joy and peace into everything, but alas my enthusiasm encounters a hardened and closed heart… What should I do? Should I give up and stop loving? That is the question! As I just said, these questions can only be answered if one understands what love truly means… and to do that, one must elevate their mind into that light…
Let’s see what the greatest law of the universe teaches us. «Love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind,» what does that mean to you? Who is God? Well, God is everything that exists. God is everywhere, in you and around you. To love God with all your being is to deeply and obviously love yourself, to love and have deep respect for all things around you. Hence the corollary of this great law: «Love your neighbor as yourself.» But in what order? Since God is within you, loving God first means loving yourself because it is there, within yourself, that you feel the full power of divine presence. Then, this burning love that originates from within will overflow towards others! Yes indeed, the love with which you love your neighbor has only one source: your own Self. Your soul. God within you! The more you understand this reality, the better you will love. The more aware you become of this truth, the freer (John 8:32).
Life is a process. It is a journey. And when you walk, it is important to focus on the path and not get distracted, for fear that your foot may hit a stone or go into the ravine. That is the message of the Lord for us today. The true path that leads to light is love. But when you love, do not let yourself be overwhelmed by what your eyes see. You hardly need to be loved in return because in reality, it has little influence on your inner fulfillment. So, you must continue to love no matter what happens. Love. Love. Love! That’s what the Lord meant by this phrase: «I tell you, not (to forgive) seven times, but seventy-seven times» (Matthew 18:22). For love is pure compassion. One who loves is more focused on the joy that comes from the well-being of the beloved… They become useful in life because they sacrifice themselves. But they remain stable and stay on course because their support lies within their heart. They are no longer afraid of rejection because more than ever, they constantly feel this unity with God and all created universe! And if they continue to love unconditionally, they will inevitably attract people who truly love… and it will be ecstasy!
