The best (Message of Light)

From the Gospel of John 10:34-36:

Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’?  If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?

This is a subject of blasphemy in the world in general, and particularly in the Christian world. To dare to say that one is God… What an insult! Claiming to be a son or daughter of God is still acceptable; it seems much more tolerable. But for a human being to dare think that they are god, that is completely incomprehensible to those who believe they hold the secrets of holy scriptures… The same insult suffered by Christ two thousand years ago (simply by declaring himself as the Son of God) is still relevant today. And for good reason, in popular perception, humanity has always seen itself as impure and unworthy to claim anything divine! Through Adam and Eve, everyone has sinned… so how can a « god » sin? And this biased perception of true human nature has caused many troubles in this world: people believe they are separated from God and separated from each other, which leads to conflicts, adversity, violence…

Man tries to escape the reality of what he is. He is, in a way, afraid to discover the full potential that God has placed within him. He sees himself as dirty, born a sinner, dust destined to return to dust, anything but a perfect child of God! So like Nathanael (who said in John 1:46: « Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?« ), man thinks: « Can anything good come out of Me? Who am I to have any favor or merit from God? » And this is what causes humans to languish in darkness and negativity every day. The grandest idea he can have about himself is indeed not grand at all, not shining, not divine!

But today, Christ reminds us that our true nature is God. He reminds us that our soul is God! We do not need to flee from this beautiful reality. Because of this, God loves us with unconditional and endless love because he knows that this love is meant only for himself… So we are called to step out of our illusion and go deep within ourselves to seek the best of our true nature. We must break free from these negative thoughts about ourselves and now embrace the splendor of this inheritance that the Lord has bestowed upon us. Yes, you are perfect! Your actions don’t matter, your thoughts don’t matter, your spiritual position doesn’t matter; your sins don’t matter – you are the son (or daughter) of God and just like Him, you are perfect in His eyes!

So here is the challenge. Every day, every hour, every minute, every second, start to perceive this flame within you. Do not let the circumstances of life, your own beliefs, or even the opinions of others convince you otherwise. Why try to run, manipulate others, lie or harm others? Is that who you truly are deep down inside? Practice seeing the greatness of God within you! Yes, you are great and glorious! No matter what happens, you must always remember this and bring out the best in yourself. You must remember that within you, in your soul resides the greatest force in the Universe: Love! And it is this energy that has built the entire universe and continues to support everything that exists… By doing so, Love will reignite your light and not only will you be able to illuminate your own path but also those of others!

Good meditation.
